One night at the opera could be your last!

“The Cloak of Shadow” is an interactive fiction based on a parody implementation of Robert Firth’s ‘Cloak of Darkness’ Specification called ‘Cloak of Ultimate Darkness.’ The Cloak of Ultimate Darkness game was part of the Advanced Authoring System (AAS) hoax. The Cloak of Shadows was used to develop my Basic Combat extension.

The story thus far…

Hurrying through the rain swept late October night, you’re glad to see the bright lights of the Opera House. You’re surprised that there aren’t more people about but, hey, what do you expect on a Monday night in this weather…

The Cloak of Shadow was created with Inform and has IFID 4C02C159-4431-4F9C-8622-F41D47ADB9F4.
